We were often on the construction site, and from there there was only good news, because the construction of the roof was in full swing! With the donations we could already pay a lot of building material for it, e.g. wooden beams, nails, rain gutters and corrugated sheets, as well as the workers’ salaries. But until our children could finally move in, a lot still had to be done: Access to water and electricity had to be regulated, the inside of the house had to be made habitable, and sanitary facilities were still missing – this and more happened during the next trips.
