We are back! And we can call this 12th trip to Ghana a complete success! 7 days in the project, and so much accomplished, the focus always on education. We were particularly touched by
✅ the welcome ceremony that our school had organized for us as a surprise (with a specially composed song!)
✅talking about the coming year 2024 with all nine young people whose secondary education we are funding (spoiler alert: one of our “children” made it to university!)
✅to talk in detail with our team in Ghana about wage increases, positive and negative aspects of the project
✅ to hear that our school was named the best in the region
✅ Celebrating the opening of the Health Center and probably employing a young woman there from January, whose secondary education (training as a pharmacist) we have financed for the last 3 years – the circle is complete!
Sometimes we really can’t believe what a huge positive impact Home for Hope has had for so many people in the rural region around our village. And all of this is only possible thanks to the support of numerous private donors, companies and other sponsors! We continue to appreciate your support. You can find out more about this year’s trip and what is planned for the project in the future in the annual newsletter 📰, which is published at the end of the year. In addition to the newsletter, you can expect more great things in the near future:
🎁 December: Christmas campaign “Give a donation!”
✨ January:
“Good New Year’s resolution” fundraising campaign with a surprise from Ghana
💡New social media series with our project manager in Ghana, John, on climate change and other topics
We look forward to everything that comes – with you!
Your board directors Carolin and Larissa
John, and the whole team in Ghana
